Any electrical work that is undertaken, whether it’s in your home, a rented property or a commercial building, requires a certificate to state that it is satisfactory and compliant with current regulations.

At Ryan Johnstone Electrical, we ensure that all our projects are completed to reflect the current regulations and requirements, and we guarantee that you will be given the relevant certificate on completion of the work carried out.

The certificate that you receive depends on the type of work done to your property, but they include:

• Minor works certificate – for alterations or additions made to existing circuits.
• Single signature certificate – for new installations, the addition of new circuits, or replacement of a consumer unit.
• Electrical installation condition report – used to report on the condition of an existing electrical installation, whether it’s deemed satisfactory and reporting any defects.
